Press Release: PakMarkaz.Net Launched

Karachi, Tuesday, 1^st January 2008: A group of patriotic Pakistani’s has launched the PakMarkaz Network today. It is a website aimed at spreading awareness and a spirit of unity amongst Pakistani’s worldwide. The website, http://www.pakmarkaz.net has a solid mission statement:

 

“To unite, make aware, enlighten and empower the people of Pakistan by providing a strong platform to those who have a vision, and to those who wish to be guided, on the principles of Unity, Faith and Discipline.”

 

The PakMarkaz Network has over 30 authors who are all collectively known as the Ambassador’s of Truth. Visitors and readers may “Talk-Back” and express their views on all articles and content that appears on the website. The writers are students and graduates from leading universities of Pakistan who wish to bring about a positive change in the country and its people.

Yes Everybody, Launching 1st January, PakMarkaz.net with its team of Ambassadors of Truth! We are going to change the way this nation thinks! We will revolutionize our country to stunning awareness and progress!

I must say, there has been an over-whelming response by people who wish to be heard and make a difference, and the voice of the people of Pakistan, from 1st January onwards, will be the PakMarkaz Network!

Of spoilt children and a ‘TOY’

Remember how toys used to attract us in our childhood? Remember how dear they used to be to us? Remember how we always used to keep them close to us? Well, I can’t help it if you were one of those few kids who actually never had to bother about who touches your toys and who does not. More often then not, we found us battling for a toy, fighting and crying but not letting go of it! Aah! Childhood!

A toy has always been very delicate, it breaks if it does not get its due share of care. I have found myself in such a situation a few times when I preferred to let go of a toy, avoiding a find and damage to the toy!

It seems as if some people never grow up! There are people who can go up to the extent of breaking a country but not letting go of their toy!

Protest against emergency at FAST-NU Lahore

The speaker (a faculty member) says:

“Baray se baray aamir aaye, iss say bara bewaqoof koi nahi aaya”, ironic statement. Taking forward my coverage of this spark of protest from highly unorthodox places in Pakistan, here is a video of the protest at FAST-NU Lahore.

Students Rising – Salam Pakistan!

Salam Pakistan! Salam to the youth who rose, who had the courage to rise against tyranny! Today, the 7th of November 2007 witnessed hundreds of students of FAST-NU (Lahore) and LUMS rise against the imposition of emergency in Pakistan.
