Me and My… Moooossssoooo!

I, in my entire life that spans around 20 years, have never been so close to anyone (apart from my family). I find myself highly inspired by this little man, I find myself very close and absolutely honest to him.

I’m talking about arguably the best friend, the best brother I’ve found for myself ever, Mustafa Haroon aka “Mooooooosssssooooooooo”.

To him, every pixel has a meaning, to me, every meaning has a pixel, or every meaning can be expressed as a pixel on this darn screen in front of you! (lame, haan?) =P

Of spoilt children and a ‘TOY’

Remember how toys used to attract us in our childhood? Remember how dear they used to be to us? Remember how we always used to keep them close to us? Well, I can’t help it if you were one of those few kids who actually never had to bother about who touches your toys and who does not. More often then not, we found us battling for a toy, fighting and crying but not letting go of it! Aah! Childhood!

A toy has always been very delicate, it breaks if it does not get its due share of care. I have found myself in such a situation a few times when I preferred to let go of a toy, avoiding a find and damage to the toy!

It seems as if some people never grow up! There are people who can go up to the extent of breaking a country but not letting go of their toy!

Silence is all what I have to say!

Emergency! Emergency! Pakistan! And Silence! Ammar is silent! Dumbfounded perhaps, shocked and unable to put together his thoughts! I am speechless!

How could this have happened? But it has happened, and for now, Silence is all what I have to say!

All I am worried about is the integrity and security of Pakistan as a unified nation! May Allah help us! May Allah bless Pakistan!

Where’s that Eid?

I sit here and I wonder. I sit here and stare out of the window, deserted streets and a silent sea in front of me. Today is the day of Eid! Whose Eid? Who am I celebrating Eid with? Should I have been fasting today? This group or the other? Wierd questions, huh?! We can’t even celebrate eid on *one* day! Together!

Where did that zeal, that fervour go? Where are those smiles? Where are those cheerful children playing and running about on the streets? Where are those who used to ring our door bell demanding sweets as “Eidee” as is the trend here in the Arab world. Where did they go?

Yeah! They must be busy watching some eid shows on television, that darn “TV!!”

Catch-22 : Where am I?

Its hard to describe how I feel like these days. Life seems to be busy and intense at all times. I find myself heading towards something, something that isn’t going to be nice. What is it? Why is it troubling me so much?
